Having to take your beloved Mercedes to a body shop can be a stressful trip. Not only do we want our car to be repaired, but repaired properly and with attention paid to not the cosmetics, but more importantly, that it be “done right.” On Saturday, May 20th, twenty Desert Stars members were shown the current state of vehicle electronics and safety systems and manufacturer recommendations and requirements to repair all components correctly. The importance of proper calibration to the sensors that essentially allow our cars to “see” was stressed. There were also representatives from Automotive Technology Services to assist in the presentation.
